Love Letters From Elvis (1971) |
||
|
Notes:
|
The
Ketty Lester hit of 1962 revived, as it stands. Elvis' vocals are clear
as a bell and a nice Floyd Cramer piano, with backing vocals supplied
ny the Imperials. Elvis cut another version of this track in June of 1970
at RCA Studios in Nashville where the strings were substituted by an organ,
the track also features deeper stronger vocals.

A
missed rocker, confusing because its hard to follow Elvis. A kicking guitar,
drums and hand-clapping, the Imperial Quartet and a Boots Randolph sax
solo.
