Notes:
|
Formerly
a hit for Jerry Lee Lewis in 1961 and Bobby Darin in 1962, come a track
from the film Viva Las Vegas in 1964, Ray Charles' 1959 R&B classic
gets stromg treatment from Elvis.
Elvis rocks it backed by the Carol Lombard Quartet and the Jubilee Four. A snippet was performed in the film TTWII in 1970, but the track did not make it onto the soundtrack album. |

Notes:
|
The
title track from the film in 1964 and one of the better film numbers.
Its fast, corny, and remarkably attractive and it all comes together nicely.
The fade out note that Elvis hits at the finale is one of the most remarkable
of his career.
