Notes:
|
The
first version of this song is a rocker with
a good beat, a saxophone break and wailing guitars, and it was this cut
that was released as a single here.
The second version however was re-arrnged by Bill Grant & Bernie Baum & Florence Kaye. This second version was made as the title tune for the film of the same name in 1964, and is a speeded up version with inferior lyrics. |

Notes:
|
A
throwback to the early RCA days and records. This blends a Floyd Cramer
piano with the Jordanaires as Elvis sings about how it hurts him to see
the way another man is treating a girl he loves and emphasises how true
he'd be if he had someone like her.
