Title:

1st Recorded:
circa - July 1954
Recorded @:
Sun Studios, Memphis Recording Service.

Versions Appear on:
A Legendary Performer Vol 2
Notes:
There is confusion about the original recording date of the song, a popular tune of 1950 recorded by Sammy Kaye, Guy Lombardo and Bing Crosby.
Most discographic authorities trace it back to Elvis' very first recording session at Sun Records.
Presumably like "Without You" it was one of those tracks Sam Phillips wasn't thrilled about. It surfaced as a monaural track on A Lengendary Performer Vol 2 and remains a valuable artifact.

Stale, left-over from Change Of Habit, notable only because it ended Elvis' contractual obligations to sing poor songs for worse films. To think that the previous month he'd recorded "Kentucky Rain".

A very controlled ballad featured in the rehearsal segment of the film That's The Way It Is, with Elvis accompanying himself on piano. On record he fills every word but never has a chance to unwind, constrained it seems, by the tempo.
